The China Study gives critical, life-saving nutritional information for every health-seeker in America. But, it is much more; Dr. Campbells exposé of the research and medical establishment makes this book a fascinating read and one that could change the future for all of us. Every health care provider and researcher in the world must read it.
Whether you are a diabetic looking to cut down on your sugar intake, an active person looking to upgrade the health benefits of your daily menu, or someone concerned with not contributing to the abuse of animal rights, the vegan lifestyle comes with a multitude of benefits.
Often, the vegan lifestyle is paired with a diet primarily comprised of raw foods, which takes the vegan benefits much further. The problem with the conventional diet is that by cooking our food it loses much of its health benefits, such as the vitamins, minerals and enzymes. Those are essential to our body in order to eliminate harmful toxins.
The best part about the vegan diet is that you no longer have to worry about calorie restrictions or low carbohydrate intake. What you eat naturally is low in unhealthy/processed carbohydrates. This takes the hassle out of dieting. Instead of a quick-fix regimen for weight loss, going vegan allows you to lose weight the healthy way, by upgrading to a healthier lifestyle.

@toppinzr Re- …
@toppinzr Re-watch part 13 while considering that your belief about fruit is corrupted by society.
Fruit is nature’s most obvious food: aromatic, colorful, literally falling off of trees. Mean-while, grain is only digestable by cows, horses, etc who’ve adapted to it. We are primates.

@toppinzr Um, as a …
@toppinzr Um, as a raw vegan, vegan chef and a nutritionist, I just have to say WTF? We don’t “have’ to avoid anything; we choose to. Why do I *need* certain starches? No one HAS to be raw – but to attack raw in utter ignorance is just wrong. And fruit is packaged perfectly: the FIBRE in fruit creates a slow release of sugars, making your point there moot, especially since fruit has nutrients. You’re actually complaining about FRUIT when less than 9% of people eat *enough* fruits and veggies?

What amazes me is …
What amazes me is that this information is given to the public free of charge. Why don’t the doctors who promote a low carbohydrate diet do that? Makes you wonder, doesn’t it?

I cried on this …
I cried on this last video, those numbers of Americans suffering are heartbreaking. I know their food choices are terrible and what their obesity rate was, but I didn’t know the numbers of people taking pills, having migraines, or the deaths. Very sad indeed, and that’s just the people, not the animals or the environment. We should have listened to Plato and followed his advice. The world could have been incredible.

People on a raw …
People on a raw diet don’t “have to do anything”,did you make up some kind of rule book on your own.
I’m not sure what raw foodist you know that eats 60 % fat from nuts and seeds.But that seems to be another assumption of yours that’s completely false.Unless maybe you know some who eats like that.And assume all raw foodists eat like that.You seem to jump to a lot of conclusions.Theres hundreds of raw food videos on youtube point me to one that advocates eating the way you describe.

Eating raw isn’t …
Eating raw isn’t really a super-healthy variant of veganism, for most people. They have to avoid a lot of starches that have to be cooked, so they get calories by eating a lot of nuts, seeds or oils; a 45-60% fat diet, which is too much fat. Or they eat huge amounts of fruit or honey or syrups, getting too much fructose. It’s translating the addiction to high-fat or high sugar foods into a vegan diet. Vegan fast food.
