Starters - vegetable pakora (fried in chick-pea flour batter) with tamarind dipping sauce (imli), or samosas with raita. Or lentil soup (yellow moong dhal, cook, add chana masala seasoning and salt)

Main course: Vegetable biryani, chana dhal rice and/or bread.

Dessert - go to an indian shop and buy some rasmalai or gulab jamun. Or make some kulfi (pistachio and saffron ice-cream).

A good site is http://www.mamtaskitchen.com - she has excellent recipes and you can filter by vegetarian/snack/main meal/dessert.
