What are some Lebanese cuisine vegetarian dishes?
I am invited to a Lebanese restaurant and I wonder if there’d be any veggie dishes at all to choose from there.
Help!!
i suggest getting some felafel while you are there. felafel are fantastic,
they may have a lentils and rice option – like megadarra. it is a very common middle eastern ish, and it is seriously delicious.
the baba ghanoush dip is awesome, and dont forget hommus
most middle eastern cooking contains alot of legumes so there should be a wide variety of dishes to choose from
i am sure if you ask the serving staff they could direct you to their vegetarian options

Find out the name of the restaurant and call ahead to ask if they have a vegetarian menu. You may be surprised that they already accommodate vegetarians. Or you can check online to see if they have a website with their menu published. I’ve eaten leb. food. At the place I went, there was a vegetarian section on the menu with baked eggplant and rice dishes, some of the things like falafel mentioned by the other answerer, vegetarian stuffed grape leaves, vegetable shish kebabs, and other things.
