You may or may not have heard the name ‘Dr Caldwell Esselstyn’. Well, he is a surgeon from the famous Cleveland Clinic and is pioneer in the world of preventive medicine. He was the first to demonstrate that heart disease can indeed be REVERSED with simple optimal nutrition. His contribution to the field are many. This is part 4 in the mega-blockbuster (haha) series disproving the most asinine and repeated claims made by Vegan-Obsessed Meat Industry Tools (VOMIT)…all you ever wanted to know about B12 and never wanted to ask :-)

NOTE: Methylcobalamin (costs more) is the much preferred form of B12 over cyanocobalamin, as the “cyano” one is cheaper to make and slightly toxic, so check the ingredient!
Smokers especially are advised to take methylcobalamin B12 as smokers already have high cyanide levels in their blood.

Vegan Women Have High Omega-3 Levels:
Women following vegan diets had plenty of omega-3 “good fats” in their blood, compared with fish-eaters, meat-eaters, and ovo-lacto vegetarians, according to a new report from the European Prospective Investigation into Cancer and Nutrition (EPIC) Study. Levels in vegan men were not quite as high as in vegan women.
Despite zero intake of long-chain omega-3s (EPA and DHA) and substantially lower intake of their plant-derived precursor alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), vegan participants converted robust amounts of shorter-chain fatty acids into these long-chain fatty acids. Of the 4,902 men and women studied, five men & five women were considered vegan.
