Sexy vegetarian cooking: Honey shows you how to make four different hemp condiments; salad dressing, garlic & yogurt dressing, tomato couli and pesto.
Buy hemp oil here: http://www.hempfarm.co.nz/buy (price in NZD)
Hemp Oil Salad Dressing 00:17
3 tablespoons of hemp oil
1 teaspoon of balsamic vinegar
Freshly ground pepper
1 clove of garlic
2-3 inch of fresh peeled ginger
Sea salt
1 teaspoon of fresh lemon juice
Finely chopped fresh herbs
Press the ginger and garlic in a garlic press. Combine with other ingredients, and mix well.
Turkish Yogurt Sauce 02:15
1 cup of yogurt
3 tablespoons of hemp oil
1 clove of garlic
Salt and black pepper
Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix them together.
For a different flavour, add a few drops of soy sauce.
Tomato Coulis 02:57
3 fresh tomatoes (chopping will help it blend)
1 tablespoon of honey
2 tablespoon of rice wine vinegar
2 tablespoon each of freshly chopped parsley, basil and oregano
1/3 cup hemp oil
Mix first four ingredients in blender, slowly drizzle in hemp oil, continue mixing until emulsified.
Hemp Oil Pesto 03:48
1/3 cup of hemp oil
1/3 cup walnuts or pine nuts
1 bunch of basil
1 bunch of parsley
filtered water (optional)
2 cloves garlic
juice of one small lemon
Parmesan cheese (to taste)
Crush nuts, basil, parsley garlic, hemp oil and lemon juice to a paste with a pestle and mortar. Mix in the parmesan cheese. Heat the pesto in a pan, but be careful not to cook it.

In this episode of the Running Raw Project: While attending the Woodstock Fruit Festival (http://woodstockfruitfestival.com) Tim takes a group of participants on a hike up Giant Mountain in New York’s Adirondack park. Many great conversations took place, including this one with Raw Vegan pioneer and ultrarunner Grant Campbell from Australia. Tim and Grant talk about the importance of facing your emotions rather than fighting them. The result of fighting your challenging emotions can often lead to strict behavior, self punishment and self loathing. As Grant says, ‘you can either be in a state of protection or a state of growth. But you can’t do both at the same time.’
For those of you moving towards a dietary change, whether it be raw vegan, simply vegan, vegetarian, 80/10/10 or other variant, it’s important to face the emotions that are showing up rather than forcing yourself through those feelings.

In this episode of the Running Raw Project: Tim sits down for an interview with Swayze Foster of http://fitonraw.com while at the Woodstock Fruit Festival – http://woodstockfruitfestival.com
Fit on Raw is a site dedicated to fitness and a raw vegan lifestyle. Swayze offers coaching and advice to those on or transitioning to a raw vegan diet. Even more impressive than her coaching skills is the fact that Swayze is teaching people about raw and vegan diets in the deep south – Memphis, Tennessee! As Frank Sinatra once said “If she can make it there, she can make it anywhere.” Well ok, he didn’t say it exactly like that, but you get the picture.

Visit http://www.learnrawfood.com to see more raw food recipes. Part 1: Raw food author and chef Jennifer Cornbleet shares how to prepare delicious California rolls using raw nori seaweed, avocado, cucumbers and other vegetables. From her DVD, Raw Food Made Easy.
California Rolls are raw, vegetarian sushi rolls that swap out imitation crab meat for crisp, all-natural vegetables with thin slices of delicate avocado, wrapped in a thin sheet of nori seaweed.
Avocado is what gives California Rolls their name. California produces about 90 percent of the nation’s avocado crop and San Diego County is considered the Avocado Capital of the U.S., producing 60 percent of all the avocados grown in California.
Before she gets rolling with her sushi, Jennifer shows you how to create your ‘mise en place,’ a French culinary term that refers to prepping your ingredients and utensils. She covers basic knife skills in a simple step-by-step process as she slices and dices her way through:
• Cucumber
• Carrot
• Bell Pepper
• Avocado
You’ll learn a fool-proof technique for removing the seed from an avocado and discover a simple method for removing the delicate flesh without mashing it.
With her assembly line of ingredients ready to roll, Jennifer brings it all together with the help of a bamboo sushi mat in Part 2.

http://youtu.be/7mHPAL4lHN4 – Vegetarian diet foods will certainly provide the protein your body needs. A vegetarian diet has many benefits to your health and wellness, as well as helping improve the quality of the air, land, and water. Consider a vegetarian diet if you want to lose weight, find healing from an illness, or are just seeking the best approach for prevention of sickness and disease.
Just moving toward a vegetarian diet can make a big difference to your health and the health of the environment. While there are many reasons to be a full-fledged vegetarian, and even vegan, just start making some simple changes so that you can more easily transition to a vegetarian or vegan lifestyle.
Don’t be concerned about the difficulty of following a vegetarian diet. The reality is that most vegetarians and vegans are not always following an animal-free or meat-free diet. Making a conscious effort to reduce your consumption of animal-derived foods is going to result in enough benefit to make you realize how significant of a role your diet plays in your health.
If you considering it, or doing some research to find out how and what is involved with being a vegetarian, then you’re on your way. Don’t think of it as an extreme lifestyle decision. It may take some effort, and not only will it help put you back on the path of what is not only an optimal way of eating, but really should be viewed as more the “normal” way of eating.
You will find in other videos but I will mention it here: if you can make the transition toward a vegetarian diet and get your animal-derived food consumption to less than 10% of your total calories, you will realize some enormous short-term as well as long-term benefits.
Visit http://www.HWii.org/ and for recipes and all the info you need to get you on the path to your ideal weight and optimal health, wellness, and prevention. http://youtu.be/7mHPAL4lHN4
