During a road trip to ski in Tahoe I was put in charge of finding a restaurant on the way (big surprise). By the time we were ready to eat it was past 10pm, but thanks to the Yelp app I found the perfect place in Davis: Burgers and Brew. The place was hopping on the Friday night but we only had to wait a few minutes to be seated. The atmosphere was welcoming and cozy, inside and out, even on a cold winter’s night. The staff was super friendly and the menu had a few delicious vegetarian options. I ordered a side of garlic fries and the portobello mushroom burger on lettuce with guacamole – great decision! Both were very flavorful and hit the spot, not to mention inexpensive. I’d go back for sure!

So I promise this will be the longest video I ever upload, but it’s probably the most important video that I’ll ever post so I didn’t want to leave anything out! I explain how I got information about becoming a vegetarian, and what made me decide that I should no longer consume meat. I also talk about my transition from eating meat-based meals to plant-based meals, and how easy it was for me to start living green!
