How to get enough protein being vegetarian?

I was wondering how a vegetarian can get enough protein without eating too much fat. Nuts and other higher protein foods that aren’t meat generally contain a lot of fat. I know pretty much all foods contain at least a little protein but it doesn’t seem like enough compared to those who eat meats that are high in protein…

(sigh)….it’s easy, just eat adequate amounts of plant-based foods and you will get the protein you require. Fruit, veggies, whole grains, legumes, nuts, seeds, mushrooms, nori, nutritional yeast, chlorella, chia seeds, hemp seeds, hemp milk, soy milk, tofu, tempeh, seitan, miso, edamame, quinoa, amaranth, oats….

A vegetarian protein that can be served separate from the vegetable and carb?

So I live with my dad and he eats meat, but I don’t.

I have like 4 vegetarian cookbooks, but all the recipes have the protein in a casserole or whatever and not by themselves.

So what am I supposed to make that’s vegetarian and can easily be put next to vegetables and a carb (ie potatoes, rice, etc)?

Quorn? They make yummy products. Not sure how healthy it is though … it’s too yummy to be healthy. :/
